1938  Jean Brown Iskra recently celebrated her 88th birthday with a round of golf, brunch in Palm Springs, a movie and a surprise birthday party.

1939  James Leathers died in September 2003 at age 84. He worked as a farmer in Yolo County and served on agricultural and environmental committees, as many as 22 at a time. Mr. Leathers will be remembered for his public service, which included 40 years as chair of the Federal Land Bank board in Yuba County. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons Timothy, Patrick, Michael and Scott; daughter Joan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
