2000 Chrissy (Kord) Brady and Michael Brady 01 welcomed their first child, Marianna Lillian Brady in August. They are completing graduate school at Humboldt State University. Michael will be receiving his Master of Arts in biology, and Chrissy is finishing her teaching credential in special education, grades K12. • In July, Rebecca Crosby married Bradford Humphreys in San Diego. Bridesmaids included Tracey ONeill, Trudi (Opton) Loscotoff, Nicole (Stark) Danz, Michelle Malik, Sarah Iversen 01 and Sarah Bailey. The couple lives in Boise, Idaho, where Crosby is attending nursing school at Boise State University. • Jeff Eastham, M.S. 04, was a member of the U.S. National Ultimate Frisbee team that defeated Australia to earn a gold medal at the 7th World Games, a multi-sport event held every four years by the International Olympic Committee. • James Wiley accepted a business systems analyst position with Philips Medical Systems in Bothell, Wash. • Jeff Seley died in August 2005 at age 29 from trauma suffered when he was run over by a golf cart. Mr. Seley was an attorney for Sacramento firm Porter Scott Weiberg & Delehant and assistant basketball coach for his alma mater, Rio Americano High. He had been in Palm Desert for a bachelor party and had spent the day of the accident golfing with several friends. 2001 Lindsay Guetschow is the outreach director for the Virtual March on Washington to Stop Global Warming. The project was founded by Laurie David, wife of comedian Larry David, as a nonpolitical effort to unite people around the issue of global warming. The march will move across the United States, spreading information via the Internet, and culminate in the capital on Earth Day 2006. • Amber Jewison received her R.N. in May and is working at the UC Davis Childrens Hospital in pediatrics. • Nazima Kathiria was awarded a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in June. She is now doing an internship at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. 2002 Sara Blagg graduated from the Seattle University School of Law in May. She earned her juris doctorate cum laude. • Rebekka (Woodruff) Fine and Matt Fine 03, who met as research assistants in an ecology lab at UC Davis, celebrated their first wedding anniversary in September. Rebekka teaches first grade in Elk Grove, and Matt works as a carpenter with Eberle Remodeling in Sacramento.
